Former Yankee Chuck Knoblauch was on the field for batting practice seeing some of his old teammates. Bubba Crosby, who has retired, was here yesterday. They both live in the Houston area.

So, in the post that was friends-locked, Chuck had said that he wanted to talk to the committee but they hadn't contacted him as to where and what he has to do. That was on January 11th. The latest news that came up through the AP newswire today (the 17th) about the committee on Feb. 13th found here says:

Earl Ward, McNamee's lawyer, has been seeking a similar agreement with the House committee, which has asked Clemens and McNamee to testify. Before the hearing, the committee plans to take depositions from the pair along with three other witnesses: pitcher Andy Pettitte, former Yankee Chuck Knoblauch and ex-Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski, who has admitted supplying players with performance-enhancing drugs.

So, I guess someone finally found Chuck's home phone number and contacted him. Maybe if he wasn't such a hermit, they would've found him more easier? Naw, probably not. Heh.

Gah I'm so giddy that people are talking about Chuck again. Even if it's stoopid rumours. Just hearing his name...

So, how many of you heard that Chuck Knoblauch was involved in the Mitchell Report?

Yes, yes.

How many of you actually read all 400+ pages of the Mitchell Report?

Yeah. That's what I figured. So, I capped the important parts (mainly where or when ever he was mentioned), so you can make you're own judgements (ignoring that it's only making up your own judgements on Chuck Knoblauch. You can do the research if you want to see what was said about other baseball players of your youth).

cut for hugeness (thats what she said)Collapse )

This link was given to me by someone who can't think of a better curseword then 'nimrod'. It's about Knoblauch's chances in the HOF. In a few days I'll have a post up about the Mitchell Report, but hi to all the new people reading this and everything! Don't be scared or shy, you can post too!

Some crazy girl chimes into why Chuck Knoblauch isn't a "bad" idea for the Hall of Fame Vote, 2008 like the original poster makes it seem to be. ♥ ♥ ♥
